From humble beginnings as an army apprentice, Lee Marsden’s tenacious attitude and hard work paid off in 2019 when he established Majestic Site Management – a successful site management consultancy that continues to grow year-on-year.
With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, Lee offers more than just a helping hand to keep your project on track. Majestic Site Management also specialises in site compliance, and health and safety, with a long-list of credentials to prove it.
Where it all began for Majestic Site Management
Lee left school at 16 with no qualifications to fulfil his dream of joining the army. He signed-up to the Royal Engineers and spent two years studying carpentry and joinery at the Army Apprentice College in Chepstow. His next ten years were spent on tour, and during this time he learned how to lead a team and work under extreme pressure.
When he left the army, Lee became a self-employed general builder, but he realised quickly this wasn’t going to be enough for him and that his aspirations were much greater. So, he enrolled at Leeds Beckett University on a construction management degree – earning himself not just a qualification, but a place working at management level on site.
Majestic Site Management came later when Lee saw an opening in the market for a freelance professional who could bridge the gap between contractors and their health and safety.
